TALK (Tarbert, Argyll, Loch Fyne & Kintyre) Tourism & Marketing Association is a independent marketing association setup in October 2011 in direct response to the lack of access to grant funding, opportunities and support from existing third sector organisations.

"In Tarbert I have personal experiences of direct prejudice and exclusion from opportunity by "trusted" third sector local organisations, it has also been demonstrated there is a complete lack of understanding of business ethics and development support for entrepreneurs and businesses. This is wrong.

Therefore the only way to support and grow small businesses and commercially sound strategies is through working closely with as many businesses as possible across Argyll and not leaving business to chance or in the hands of organisations that fail to deliver. I've also seen work and contracts given not on the basis of quality of work or professional results, but on the basis of friendship or lowest price wins - this is commercially bad for good businesses in Argyll.

We've arrived at TALK, an organisation that has direct access to instant marketing opportunities, strategy development and innovative ideas to create a sustainable tourism development environment at low cost with measurable results. It's time to create our own future and not leave it to chance, join us and make a long term difference to sustaining Argyll's fragile economy.

TALK Circles

TALK offers a number of sustainable subscriptions for small businesses which enables us to regain control of our marketing, advertising irrespective of third sector and government organisations, we can empower the small business network. Our marketing subscriptions are managed by circles.

We currently have 4 main circles and expanding which include Argyll, Mid Argyll, Loch Fyne & Kintyre, future expansions include dedicated circles for Cowal & Bute and the Western Isles of Islay, Jura & Mull.
